Our Learning Approach
-
Ofsted registered
We follow the EYFS curriculum, making sure your child experiences all seven areas of learning through fun, engaging, and child-led activities that are carefully structured to support their unique development. And you're very much part of the journey too — we’ll keep you updated, involve you in their milestones, making sure you always feel connected to what they’re learning and how they’re growing.
-
School Readiness
School readiness is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that the early years lay the foundation for lifelong success, which is why we focus on equipping your child with the confidence, independence, and key skills they need to thrive in school and beyond. From early literacy and numeracy to social skills and emotional resilience, we nurture every aspect of their development — so when the time comes, they don’t just start school, they’re ready to soar.
-
Multisensory approach
We know that young children learn best when they can see, touch, hear, smell, and move — which is why our approach is rooted in multisensory learning. By engaging all the senses, we help your child make deeper connections, strengthen memory, and truly enjoy the process of learning. Whether it’s exploring textures in messy play, listening to sounds in nature, or using movement to build early maths skills, we create rich, hands-on experiences that bring learning to life.
Outdoor learning
-
We are passionate about physical education and getting children outdoors - regardless of the weather. We have an external company come in and provide specialised PE sessions every Wednesday for an hour.
While outdoors each day, our children are able to climb, build, ride scooters, balance on tyres and tend to all the herbs and apple tress in our garden.
Our generous approach to staffing means we are able to attend many outings and engage with an array of cultural experiences.
Mealtimes
-
We have 4 sittings for meal times.
7:30-8:30 - breakfast
10:30-11 - snack
12:00-12:30 - Lunch
2:30-3:00 - snack
Our fee structure does not include food. If you would like us to provide this, we are able to and will add it on as a voluntary fee to your monthly invoice. If not, you would need to provide packed food for any sittings your child may be present at with us.
Our staff eat together with our children, creating a family meal experience. We use this time to engage in rich conversations and appreciate the value of food and meal time.
Sleep and Quiet Time
-
We know most two-year-olds and some older children will still need a nap. We provide a quiet, darkened area in the room and provide each child with their own toddler floor bed to be able to nape
-
We encourage all all children who are with us for the whole day to have some quiet time which is during the time our afternoon session children will be joining us. This time is used for story telling and audio books.
This then helps reset the children for the afternoon session while providing a stable start for the children who have just joined us for the day.
-
